Shichida UK runs structured, multi-sensory developmental classes in Reading for babies and young children aged 6 months to 6 years. Built on more than 60 years of neurodevelopmental research and a globally proven approach used with over 1 million children across 19 countries, our certified educators deliver fast-paced, parent-accompanied sessions. Through interactive play, music, high-speed visual input, sensory integration games and spatial puzzles, we nurture whole-brain development, memory, early literacy, critical thinking and emotional connection. Classes are intentionally small—capped at a maximum of six children—to provide focused learning beyond standard playgroups or movement-only sessions.

What ages do you teach?

Classes are for babies and young children from 6 months to 6 years. Sessions are tailored to each developmental stage within that range.

Where are the classes held?

Classes take place in Reading. All sessions are parent-accompanied and led by certified educators.

What happens in a typical session?

Sessions use interactive play, music and sensory engagement alongside high-speed visual input and spatial puzzles. These activities are designed to stimulate memory, early literacy and whole-brain development.

How is the Shichida approach different from a regular playgroup?

The method combines structured whole-brain learning with high-speed visual input, sensory integration games and spatial puzzles rather than focusing only on movement or free play. It aims to build cognitive skills, photographic memory and emotional connection during critical early years.

How large are the classes?

Class sizes are kept intimate and are capped at a maximum of six children. This ensures focused attention from our certified educators and meaningful parent-child participation.

Shichida is an absolute must for any baby / child Imparting over 60 years plus of research of how to stimulate our daughter and maximise her potential thanks to Shichida. I signed up my daughter for Shichida in 2022. My daughter was 3 and speech delayed. She took some time to get used to the lessons and the new environment, but through the support of the staff and their teaching methods, she not only grew to enjoy the sessions, but gained confidence in her skills. I definitely accredit her excellent memory, love for mathematics and her attitude towards learning to Shichida and their unique ability to tailor learning to children of all developmental abilities. I would definitely recommend and advise parents to try for themselves. I recommend patience and consistency for the best results!

Shichida classes have really helped our daughter in developing her picture memory and speech. She started at 7 months, and enjoys coming to these classes. She already speaking over 100 words and numbers at 20 months. Shichida has great framework to suit the kids of all age. I would recommend these classes to every parent who are keen to support their mental development and learning capabilities.

Through fun based activities provided by Shichida program I can see the improvement on my child's concentration, confidence, memory and speech in the early age. I am glad that we attended the lessons together in the past 2 and half years that also helped us strengthen our parent-child relationship.
